Monie Christo CDS
Monie Christo CDS is a Missouri Medicaid-based program that allows eligible clients to hire a Family Member, Friend, or Neighbor to be their Paid personal Caregiver. Clients with eligible disabilities are able to hire a caregiver that they know and trust to provide personal care attendant services, enabling them to live independently in their home instead of a institutionalized Nursing Facility.
Monie Christo’s CDS program is consumer controlled. Participants in the Monie Christo Cares CDS program are trained to hire attendants to assist them with tasks of daily living. The tasks may include bathing/showering, toileting, obtaining medication, meal preparation and cleanup, housekeeping/laundry and essential transportation.
Meet The Director
Simone McGary is a Kansas City, MO native and moved to St. Louis, MO in 2013 where she currently resides. She is an experienced professional in performance management with the acumen to execute operational efficiency. After spending nearly 8 years with her previous employer, Anheuser- Busch InBev, Simone has become a well-rounded Project Manager with expertise in Logistics, Warehouse Management, Supply Innovation, Multi-Systems management, and most recently, Regional Pricing Analysis. She has a passion for motivating productive teams and increasing profitability through streamlining processes and identifying areas of improvement.
During her time at Anheuser-Busch Simone was recognized as the North American Zone expert for AB InBev's Pegasus system, a cross functional online Stage Gate tool for new Innovations. Simone was responsible for development and implementation of the Pegasus System, which is still used at AB InBev today.
Simone is a proud alumna of the University of Missouri- Columbia, where she obtained a B.S in Electrical Engineering and minor in Mathematics. Outside of her professional life, Simone enjoys traveling and spending time with her Family and Friends. Her hobbies include sewing, fashion merchandising and designing, and social media content creation. She is a "Dog-Mom" of a beautiful (but very active) Yorkshire Terrier, Bailey Rae who she loves and adores.
